The ultrasonic system is capable of carrying out thousands of thickness measurements using the pulse-echo method.

​

The probe is introduced through the manhole (top or side) without the input of our technicians who will control the robot from outside the tank.

​

The application of this technique complies with NR 13 and API 653 and can extend the tank's shutdown for the next inspection by up to 10 years. More than 1,000 tests have been carried out using this technique in the United States.

The acquired data is processed by our engineers and sent to a professional qualified in the United States and accredited in API Standard 653.
